So perhaps you should mention that in the instructions above. Having not used my scanner for a long time, LiDE50, My OS X 10.10.3 wouldn't talk to it. Just a little hint for all the other Germans like me who happen to end up on your site: Image Capture is called "Digitale Bilder" in german. Got a CanonScan Lide 100, for which no driver is available for my new Imac with ML OS X 10.8.5.
