Canon Ufr Ii Printer Driver Error 50
When looking at the detail of the log, no error, just "STOP." I even tried a few more accounts and passwords - none went through. After trying over and over, it finally got to the point where it sent the 0000 passkey, which worked, and the printer was finally paired. Having the printer connected to the airport allows the use of drivers which are designed for direct USB connection. Looking through the Readme for the v2.00, your iR C3170 is not listed as a supported model, while it was listed as a supported model with the previous v1.80 UFR2 driver. navigate here
I attempted and failed to be able to share the stupid printer adequately with the 2 mac machines. Same recorded error on the printer. Thanks again for the help.bcapranica Sep 5, 2009 8:36 PM Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post by PAHU, PAHU Sep 5, 2009 8:55 PM I did see it in the list of supported machines in the v 1.80.I am trying to connect through Ethernet - both within the office and through a VPN outside the Sep 4, 2009 10:45 AM Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post by bcapranica, bcapranica Sep 5, 2009 4:35 PM in response to PAHU Level 1 (0 points) Sep 5, https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2128186?start=60&tstart=0
Want: MOAR! They simply stick in the system as an error. Any ideas? He had to select 'Canon iR Series UFR II (UK)' for the Print Using menu as his model wasn't listed.
It is connected to my airport and shared. I verified the account and password. I am unable to scan to pc with this printer since sl update. Sep 4, 2009 9:16 AM Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post by jfm47, jfm47 Sep 4, 2009 10:45 AM in response to PAHU Level 1 (0 points) Sep 4,
Fail Apple / Canon! they just sit in the print queue and don't move.Regards, Sep 4, 2009 5:48 AM Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post by Paul Laskin, Paul Laskin Sep 4, 2009 This will be a white metal box attached to the back of the copier with a couple of cables connecting to the printer. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2mCXTDeqpf8QkwtNDFIRjFmdms/ I'm even interested in going back to 10.5 (is that possible?) - SL is not that significant.
I'm not trying to be imflammatory, but in the OP's experience it doesn't work at all. I would rather be able to function at the level I was used to. No description of the error is given - just "error." The printer does recognize that it is a Microsoft Word Document as well as the size, but will not print.I tried Looking at the Print status the message simply showed Error, the same as bcapranica is getting. And if he changed the Print Using to another model of Canon, such as the iR5065,
Spoke to Canon who informed me of the lack of network capability of the printer. (really? http://ut-world.eu/2017/03/30/canon-ufr-ii-printer-driver-error-50-lion_ql/ After downloading the driver from the Canon website and installing (and a quick restart), I couldn't get the printer to connect via bluetooth. I finally got it to work by reinstalling Canon MP970 series 693.pkg. The MP970 as a Bonjour Scanner will appear immediately.
There are plenty of other options, and some maybe actually cheaper. check over here I then went into Sys Prefs (Print&Fax) and added the printer there. An error like #701 would indicate an incorrect Dept ID was used.If you select to print a document on the Mac and change the print menu to one of the Canon Please add us!
Will report back. This doesn't quote a particular model so it may work better for you than the 3080 I recommended. How are you connecting to the printer? So this may explain your current symptom. And if the U on the end of the model number means that it is a UFR2 only model, then that would explain why you http://cracklegraphics.com/canon-ufr/canon-ufr-ii-printer-driver-error-711.html Nothing appears for a couple minutes, but soon my bluetooth printer popped up.
If you see PS then you have it.Another thing to note with this model is that there is Fiery controller available. I tried going to Bluetooth-->Set Up Bluetooth Device, but it kept timing out.
